M&A and Energy Transactions Associate, Richmond

A top global law firm is hiring an Associate for its M&A and Energy Transactional team in the Richmond office.

The Associate will represent clients in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and other transactions across the Americas, Europe, Asia and beyond. You will advise public and private companies in various industries from deal start to closing. 

Requirements:

- 3-7 years of corporate transactional experience, with significant M&A experience

- Energy industry experience (power, renewable energy, oil & gas) is preferred

- Familiarity with project finance, infrastructure development, construction contracts and/or tax equity transactions is a plus

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills  

- Excellent academic record and writing/drafting abilities

- Virginia bar admission preferred
